Praksis: Journal of Community Service
Praksis: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is published by the Indonesian Association of Communication Science Lecturers and Researchers (ADPIKI). The journal focuses on the practice and processes of community engagement, particularly the application of communication science to community empowerment, capacity building, social problem-solving, and sustainable community development.
The journal provides a forum for academics, practitioners, and community representatives to explore issues, share experiences, and reflect on practices related to community engagement. It welcomes scholarly articles reporting community service activities, innovative approaches, program implementation, and impact assessments that contribute to the development of communication practices and community well-being.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, community empowerment, communication for social change, science communication, cultural communication, social outreach, community engagement, extension activities, engaged research, community-based research, participatory action research, public scholarship, service-learning, and community service based on communication science.
Praksis is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to publishing high-quality scholarly articles that bridge academic knowledge and practical community engagement.
